With Solahart, the Finnegans family of four have reduced their electricity bill by 75 per cent. After 10 years of having their Solahart Solar Hot Water system, Tracey and Mark also decided to install a Solar Power (PV) system on their roof, seeing significant cost savings after just eight months. Previously spending $1,200 per quarter on electricity, the Finnegans family now only spend between $300-$400 depending on the time of year. Sustainability is important to Tracey and Mark, which is why they're thrilled with a responsible solution which also reduces their electricity bill.

When planning home improvements at their new property in Franklin, Tasmania, Paul and Suzanne knew that they wanted to incorporate solar as a way to save on their power bills. Having had a Solahart Powerstore hot water system installed at their previous home, contacting Solahart Hobart was a no-brainer. After a consultation, Neil from Solahart was able to help Paul and Suzanne by developing a solar system made up of Solahart solar panels and a Solahart Powerstore solar hot water system. Since installing their new system, Paul and Suzanne have been able to enjoy life in their new home knowing that they have reduced their quarterly energy bill by 75 per cent.

As big users of power, the Trevenas were looking to find a renewable energy solution which would reduce their energy bills.Colin Trevena
As big users of power, the Trevenas were looking to find a renewable energy solution which would reduce their energy bills. However, they faced a challenge which meant that they were unsure where to start. The roof of their property is heritage listed, meaning that installing solar panels was not a straightforward task. To help the Trevenas make the most of the roof space they could use, Neil from Solahart recommended a fully integrated system which included a Solahart Powerstore hot water system, plenty of solar panels, and a Solahart Home Energy Management System (HEMS) so they could measure exactly how much energy was being generated. In just the first year, the Trevenas halved the cost they incurred, and expect to see even further reductions in their energy bills, all while saving the planet.
